After committing to a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach, The Wine Merchant obtained the ‘Bordeaux Cultivons Demain’ label, a collective initiative overseen by the CIVB (Bordeaux Wine Council).

The Wine Merchant invests in new infrastructure to support its growth: modern, functional offices nestled in the heart of the up-and-coming Euratlantique district of Bordeaux, and a state-of-the-art logistics warehouse.

Axel Vallet joins The Wine Merchant with a wealth of experience in the management, sales and distribution of fine wines in France and abroad.
He takes over management of the company to take its ambitions to new heights.

Christophe Reboul Salze, a leading figure in Bordeaux classified growths, founds The Wine Merchant, laying the foundations for a daring adventure.

As a “young” wine merchant just 25 years old, we want to bring our daring vision to the world of wine. Enjoying constant growth, we keep up with the times by cultivating close relationships with our customers, to give them the best possible advice on their needs. Genuine collectors of fine bottles, we select the most prestigious Bordeaux wines with rigour and expertise. Fine wine knows no borders: we also distribute the most famous wines from wine regions in France and abroad. Our terroir hunters seek out rare gems: exceptional wines and formats are on offer, as well as a full range of old vintages, from 1874 onwards.
